I have eaten both at the restaurant and through their take out service, my latest order was not fulfilled due to a high wait time on food as disappointing as this was the staff were very friendly and understanding and cancelled my order. Later that night I was very surprised to receive a phone call whilst I was in work and they had come out of their way after work to deliver the cakes I had ordered. They were the banoffee tarts and we order them everytime we order or eat with them. I could not fault Vicky and her team and I will be happily ordering food with them again in the future. I have given 5 stars for service/food and atmosphere as I am yet to have a bad meal or experience.

Ordered from The Woollen Pig - Birkdale for breakfast this morning - it was absoloutely amazing!! Got a breakfast burrito for myself - everything was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of cheese melted onto it. My sister had a ā€œbreakfast in bread buttyā€ which had bacon, sausage, egg, tater tots and black pudding in. Sheā€™s a very picky eater and ate the whole lot! Mum had the avacado on toast (didnā€™t manage to get a picture), but she said it was delicious! Delivery was quick, and they even popped in a free dessert, with a lovely message on the bag. 10/10 couldnā€™t recommend enough ā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø

We had seen the menu on the internet and it looked great. Sometimes these places can be a let down in real life, but not this time. Both my wife and I had the home alone pretzel, which has pastrami, cheese, pickles and mustard. It took a few minutes to heat up, by which time we'd selected deserts and a couple of sausage rolls to take home. The pretzels were outstanding. We had the sausage rolls the next day. The Christmas dinner one was amazing - there was a chipolata and stuffing running through the middle. The deserts were great. Massive and delicious. Can't recommend this place highly enough

We had seen the menu on the internet and it looked great. Sometimes these places can be a let down in real life, but not this time. Both my wife and I had the home alone pretzel, which has pastrami, cheese, pickles and mustard. It took a few minutes to heat up, by which time we'd selected deserts and a couple of sausage rolls to take home. The pretzels were outstanding. We had the sausage rolls the next day. Absolutely amazing food! Came in to treat my parents for a spot of dinner! I had the sticky chicken and they had the chip shop dinner! WOW!!! Literally the nicest chicken Iā€™ve ever had in my life!! I was actually sad when I had finished it that it had gone! So had the vegan choc fudge cake - sooooooooooo good! Parents both loved theirs too!! The staff were SO nice and friendly, the moment we walked in we were greeted with beautiful smiles!!! They told us what their fave things were on the menu and actually stopped and had a little chat with us which was lovely asking how our day had been etc. My mums now making it her new go to place when she goes out for lunch with her girls!!!! 10000000% would recommend!!!!!!!!!! Didnā€™t have time to take pics as we were too busy...

1st go at this place. The menu looked good with promising flavour combos and a state of the art selection of deserts. The place looks nice and modern with outdoor seating. great for the warm weather. I went in person to get my lunch. Ordered the chunky pig and a the kinder cookie pie. The display sandwich was fully filled with pork belly and so i was disappointed to find that mine had 2 pork belly bits replaced with sausages and needed more sauce. The cookie pie was the last piece available but every bite is amazing and full of flavour. Ā£9.70 is much more than i would normally splurge on a normal days lunch but I am prepared to pay for good food. Next time i will have to be more specific on my sandwich in order to be completely happy...
