Had a family meal here and the first thing that struck me as I entered was how clean the place is and This extends I might add to the toilets. The second thing is the friendly welcome from the staff. We were quickly seated and attended to promptly. A good choice of food along with the expected fish and chips. I had the full English breakfast even though it was early evening. I am fussy about my fry ups and am pleased to say my 'breakfast ' here didn't disappoint. My companions had various other dishes and they all enjoyed their meals, I had the apple pie for dessert and here I have my only small complaint in that it came with spray bottle cream but this did not really detract from the overall experience. Having been to the restaurant countless times over the years, myself & the Mrs ( even my Dad who lives abroad ) always place an extra order a Side Dish as per menu.
Mrs the sliced Gherkin. Me fried Onions, both Side Dishes.
Oddly, they dont seem to grasp its seperate from the main meal. Have to keep being reminded too!. Having the cheek to apologise, making us feel wer'e in the wrong!. Get a grip Blue Harbour. Employ proper staff.
