HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This restaurant is beautiful and the food was so nice and the service from the girls especially Kayla was just spot on and friendly and swift.
We had the prawn crackers, Thai mixed platter, 2 x prawn Tom yum soup, I had the Thai red curry and egg fried rice and my other half had a sea bass lemon chilli dish which he really enjoyed and then a banana split dessert.
The atmosphere here was nice and the restaurant was small but packed. Iām glad we booked and we even got an email confirmation to say our table was booked and reserved.
The layout and presentation of the food was STUNNING , every single course with such little detail added to the presentation and it was just incredible and so stylish especially the desserts. Someone in the kitchen clearly knows what they are doing. The garnishing on the courses was just amazing and your hard work pays off because your customers really appreciate the little touches.
The waitresses at this restaurant ensuring they pour the wine for customers and always holding doors open when customers leave. Very respectful and good service and attentive.
I have recommended this restaurant to family and friends and we will definitely be back probably even this Sunday for the buffet menu which looks very good.
They even cater for Muslims and menu is halal which is just amazing. They cater not just the food but even the drinks for people that donāt drink by having non alcoholic beer and non alcoholic Gordonās gin and tonic which we both had.
Only thing I will say small criticism wise is that the Thai red curry needs to be runnier and spicer not so thick and creamy.
Also I was sad that as Thai restaurant they donāt do sticky rice in bamboo baskets which is an experience I love and always opt for in Thai restaurants. Hopefully they will bring it back but this was due to too many customers complaining that the sticky rice was too sticky š.
Thank you to Thai Emperor restaurant for such a lovely Friday night š. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell what can I say! I was very very impressed. I took my mother to the Thai Emperor based on the Google reviews which was high. I have been left with a great impression of how a restaurant should be run. The service was great we were welcomed with a smile by Afjoi, he seated us quickly and returned shortly to ask if we wanted any drinks. The service was first class from start to finish, and when the food was served it was by the chef! Great service. The whole place was very clean and the atmosphere was great. Not too quite and not shouty at the same time. The food was fresh and very tasty with very generous portions. The lighting was nice I could easily imagine taking a girl friend here. Very relaxed. If I had to be very picky the only thing I was fault is the local parking. Although you can park with a short walk which is easy for people without disabilities like us it's a little hilly in the area and there is a step to enter. I would imagine if you rang ahead to the restaurant and spoke to Afjoi or one of the other staff they would be very accommodating offering advice. It's worth it believe me. I believe the restaurant seats over 30 but again to be sure I would check this ahead of time if you have a large party. I honestly don't write alot of reviews but I do try and write ones that count as deserving! Thai Emperor is one of those. I hope this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe drinks selection was vast with a lovely presentation glass of the Amaretto. The decor of the staff and restaurant is admirable. Contemporary yet approachable. The food service was prompt and friendly with a lovely young waitress who served the dinner with a smile. To start, we ordered Thai dumplings; steamed to a delicious level of softness. The dumplings set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The main course was a aromatic Pad Guay Teaw Kee-Mao, a perfect level of spice for those who enjoy a slight kick, with tender prawns and adequetly cooked noodles. The bar was set high, to finish the meal we decided to share a plate of the banana fritters. Served with vanilla ice cream it was a tasty combination of sweet and savoury; however the fritters themself were a tad oily and the ice cream was fast to melt. I would recommend a different bowl for the ice cream next time. As a whole the experience was memorable, approachable and professional. A must visit for those who are a fan of Thai food. Would certainly comeback to try the rest...
