We visited Swanley KFC at 3:30pm on a Saturday and it was reasonably busy however our experience was not a good one.
The floor was not clean, the order screen was offline, the staff were not in any rush to serve the waiting customers and they had clearly not had adequate training in good customer service.
I have an intolerance to artificial sweeteners and I asked if the Robinson draft blackcurrant had sugar in or was sugar free (so therefore contained artificial sweeteners that I can’t have) as it was not clear from the description.
The member of staff did not know and after I explained my situation I was again just met with the response “I’m sorry I don’t know.”
I then asked to see their allergy information for the restaurant to see what response I got to that and I was met with “you’ll have to just look online.”
I found this extremely worrying that a high profile fast food outlet couldn’t provide a customer with allergy information for their menu when asked. My issue is only an intolerance, so not life threatening, but if I had a serious allergy this would be a far bigger concern.
I asked to speak to the manager and their response was also “sorry you have to go online.”
I do not know if this is KFC policy or just extremely poorly trained staff at this outlet, but my advice is don’t rely on this KFC outlet to advise you if you do have an intolerance or allergy when visiting.

And thats when you spell it out for the incompetent braindead morons? The management are even worse then the staff and thats saying something as the staff are a disgrace to fast food. The only thing that made that store any good was the indian lady that has now moved to the dartford branch, which by the way has improved in leaps and bounds since she got there, she always is so helpful, checks every order so her staff are unable to make such unforgivably idiotic mistakes time after time after time! Now she has gone do not even contemplate EVER going into this branch and having to deal with such sub human scum! After attempting politely to receive a refund, my girlfriend was shouted at and talked down to by the so called 'manager' informing her her comsumer rights are null and void with kfc, the level of customer service from this hapless supposed international american brand is shocking, which is why i had to write this review if it was the last thing i did on this earth! I advise to boycott all kfc sites as after attempting to speak with head office after this shambles of a service the staff there were as useless as a condom machine in the vatican! Read moreVisited kfc on the 7th November at 5.15, when I got inside there was 2 people so I placed my order, as I was waiting for collection there were people coming in, I felt so uncomfortable so decided to wait outside as this point there was 8 or 9 people inside, even though the signage on the door clearly states maximum capacity of 5 people at any one time, I’m then waiting outside, and people just carry on going inside and joining the queue, now there is 20 people inside, I air my concerns when my order is ready just to be told that if they had more staff they would monitor however clearly didn’t care and was relaying people to do the right thing which they wasn’t, it’s such a small space with no care, not following COVID guidelines, it’s absolutely disgusting and I will be reporting to trading standards as clearly wasn’t interested in what I had to say, got home and I was then missing some food from my order, obviously I didn’t go back as I felt uncomfortable in there and if I had not paid would of left, it was totally disgusting management, No social distancing and a care free attitude, I think your business should be CLOSED and I want a refund,...
