Branded Sevenoaks — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

We went here for my boyfriend's 30th birthday celebrations this evening, and I am utterly appalled with the customer service from one of the waiters in particular. We both ordered steaks, medium rare. My boyfriend's steak came out and it was cooked perfectly. Mine, unfortunately, was a bit overcooked and dry and I explained this to them (and usually I hate complaining but I'm paying nearly £30 for this meat so thought I had to!). They then brought the same steak out but all they'd done was put it back in the pan, which I was confused at because I said it was overcooked! They brought a new piece of steak out and when I say it wasn't cooked, I'm not exaggerating, it was BLUE, like both sides seared. When I told them again that I'd asked for it medium rare, the waiter was unbelievably rude saying that "if I wanted it pinker then I should have asked for it rare". We eat steak out a LOT so I felt actually really embarrassed and humiliated that they'd told me I had ordered it wrong, regardless of the fact that my boyfriend's steak was perfect so that must have been cooked or ordered wrong too then? Completely did not show the statement 'customer is always right'. Not to mention, they took the same blue steak back and reheated it, didn't actually change the cooking of the steak at all. I personally feel that they were giving me that blue steak to prove a point which was utterly rude. We will NOT be returning here which is such a shame as we are big lovers of the branch in Beckenham. I felt that uncomfortable that I couldn't eat my steak, yet still had to pay for it...

Went here for a meal with my boyfriend and as we ordered our food we had to fill in the paper of details as I filled this is one of the waiters had made a inappropriate comment (il keep your number for myself and then started to laugh) as I wrote on the paper and gave it Back to him he Said this to me in front of my boyfriend which I thought was unacceptable And not nice to do You can see we’re a couple who does that made me feel very uncomfortable and especially my boyfriend Made him feel uncomfortable and annoyed which could of caused conflict you just don’t do that we was actually looking forward to going for nice meal somewhere different and a different area and did not expect that or to put up with that from the staff just disgusting really we won’t be going back again not fair when staff make you feel like that when you was having a nice meal as a couple and you get someone who wants to cause trouble don’t really know what he was trying to do or get out but clearly should not be working in a place like that if that’s what he does by making people feel awkward and uncomfortable And trying to cause a problem I wonder if he’s done it to anyone else Said inappropriate stuff to a couple in front of there boyfriend disgraceful not very...

We had an absolutely awful Friday night dinner at Branded last night. The service was so rushed, I get it's a busy restaurant but the waiters are practically power walking / running around which doesn't make for a nice atmosphere. The worst thing was the speed in which the food came, we got our starters before we got our drinks and we ordered the chateaubriand which says allow 30 minutes for cooking, it came within 4 minutes of the starter being taken away. It was an 8pm sitting so didn't expect to be so rushed, the whole meal from seating to finishing was 35 minutes and my husband didn't even finish his 1 beer given how long it took to arrive at the table by the end of the meal and we thought we would be getting a bottle of red with dinner!. It wasn't a complicated or fancy drink order so you don't expect to have your food without your drink. It was an awful experience and wouldn't return again. We provided our comments to the waitor and he said, 'I'm just a server, some people like to have all there food fast'??? It wasn't a cheap pre theatre eat!!!!
