Istanbul Kebab — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

I had a large donner what can I say it was disgusting, they have definitely changed the meat as it tasted of pure soya meat, its hit or miss with this bloody place. Sometimes it eatable other times it goes straight to the cats. I know that are using cheap products. There is a shop in crawley and another in Highgate where the meat is proper and actually tastes like lamb. I will never eat from this place again. The portion are even very small for the price they charge and the tall bald guy who serves customers is a right moody old sod., In future I will make the 35 mile round trip to Crawley. I've had more than my fair share of lamb doners and this is up there! The doner slices are finely sliced and tastes great! My only criticism was that the salad could have been cut better but the they compensated for that with a generous portion! Be careful on the chilli sauce, it tastes great but is very spicy! The meat is cheap and it has small bones in it. I bit in to a small bone and had a tooth ache for a few days. The best kebabs are in Crawley as their are a few of them so they have competition.
