Waite & Rose Café — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

Very rude and unfriendly staff Yesterday I visited the café with my two children to have lunch. My younger son, who is 11 years old and follows a vegan diet, had a vegan bowl purchased from the Waitrose takeaway section on the ground floor, due to the limited vegan options available at the café itself. Our intention was for him to eat the vegan bowl alongside the food and drinks I was about to order for the rest of us from the café. While I was heading to the counter to place our order, a staff member, who later identified herself as Kim, noticed the takeaway bowl on our table. Without any courtesy or willingness to engage respectfully, she approached me and, in an abrupt and unfriendly tone, stated that we were not allowed to eat food not purchased from the café. I attempted to explain our situation, but she cut me off and rudely directed me to a sign at the entrance, repeating that we had to leave. I explained that I could not allow my young son to eat alone downstairs, yet she showed no empathy or professionalism and insisted we vacate the café entirely. I went to waite and rose cafe sevenoaks with my dad today There today I had a very lovely sandwich which I really enjoyed It was very tasty and delicious and yummy It ws one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in the whole wide world To drink I had a very lovely cup of tea which I really enjoyed It was one of the best cup of tea I have ever had in the whole wide world The staff are so kind and lovely and friendly and super polite They are very welcoming to their customers that like to visit thier cafe I really like coming to their cafe with my mum and dad on weekends as it's one of my favourite cafes to go to in sevenoaks Hope this good review helps a lot as I made it as postive and kind as possible so your star ratings goes up a bit that why I like doing postive and kind reviews for your lovely cafe This place gets it's second 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5...

We use the cafe in Sevenoaks weekly, where the staff are more aware of the guest.

The young Saturday staff stood around talking unaware of tables to be cleaned out the trolley to be emptied as the guests put their own trays.
