Had a terrible experience at this place. I’d eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. But recently it was very disappointing. When trying to purchase my food I’d been told that they had sold out (that’s fine btw). I was then told they had ‘found some’. So I ordered two of the meals for me and my partner. On arrival it was quite clearly 1 portion split into 2. When I complained about the meal (barely a child’s portion) I got told that, that was how it comes. Started going in for the last 3 months the actual bar is absolutely spotlessly clean the drink is a little bit dearer than the other pubs round there but you don't mind paying a little bit more when it's a good pint the young lass behind the bar Theresa is really polite and good host got the best TVs sky sports nd definitely the best music what more could you...

The real ale is over priced let's be honest,.£4.20 for a 3.6% ale is ridiculous. And it sits there that long cos folks won't pay it that it's way past its best if you have a pint. An example was the Abbeydale beer on this evening. Yes I should have sent it back,.but why aren't the staff checking the ales are not on the turn? ....oh that's right cos...
