And again and again I keep coming to this cafe... Thank you to Sara for being so lovely!! The average wait for food is 30 minutes minimum, so know that and enjoy the quite clean orangy atmosphere while waiting...but great idea to order online and do whatever you need doing on your way there... My regular is the £4.99 hot drink with delicious breakfast wrap...today the veggie one ..so so well done!! Always with so much care!!!

Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10-1 pm. EGYPTIAN BREAKFAST!!! £9.99 for a bit of bits and bobs in bowls, with fresh bread.. looking forward to try I soon with my family. But we have been advised: to call and book, as it gets busy!!

+++++++++++++++++++ 21-1-25, today I enjoyed fries with filly stake, they were gorgeous. Also tried the "breakfast pretzel bun" (like a baguette, but softer bread, long shape, with seeds on top. Just oven baked! Delicious as well). As usual, everything was fresh and prepared with care. I was given a loyalty card for coffees. Towards the end of my visit, a big group of people came, so the place is becoming popular which makes me really happy as they deserve that this business is successful 🫶🏾. I really appreciate that is open until 8:30 pm, when the shops are closed and it can be quiet and a calm space, always clean and it really feels like a treat of quality time for me. So, after 5:30 when the shops inside are closed, use the lateral door near Holland and Barrett 🙂 Thank you again! Just so you know if you visit: there is no toilet and it can be cold, so bring your jacket and be aware of the near toilets available. Lovely Egiptian owner and photos that make you feel good🙂

Today (11-1-25) I went again, second time...I had the lovely breakfast wrap... The customer service was extraordinary... Everything is fresh and you can tell is prepared with a lot of care ( therefore don't go in a rush...just enjoy your wait as it's worth!!) Looking forward to come again and try the loaded chips with Philly stake...plus also other bits and bobs of your menu...Thank you as everything on the menu looks affordable, not overpriced at all, and when it arrives at the table it really shows "a special TLC"...so, I would say it's a bit of a "therapeutic experience "... Steps Restaurant is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The ambiance is inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and cozy touches that set the mood for a wonderful meal.

The food tasted delicious, but got the food at different times. I got half my food and had to wait ten minutes for the rest of it by this point my partner had finished his food. Customer service was shocking. The girl who was at the front serving; was rude and uninviting. She was talking to her friends who had come to visit her, she was telling them about different members of the public that had been in and bought different things and then started making comments about them customers. There was no hi or bye, no sorry that your food is so delayed, she was too busy on her phone to notice people walking in and walking straight back out. I would love to try different food from there as the loaded chips and burger were amazing and so tasty, but it doesn't take much to be kind to the people that are giving you...
