Bagels Inc. — Restaurant in Sheffield

Ordered the hot honey bagel on a sesame bagel (only this and plain left) and it was super boring. The chicken itself was nicely flavoured, the coleslaw tasted no better than a store-bought one (I’ve seen replies that it’s actually homemade, seriously does not taste like a homemade one) and I had one measly pickle on there!

Ordered a strawberry matcha which again was just very standard. I think the whole aesthetic of it being served in a can is a cute option, but the strawberry syrup is just lying flat at the bottom and you’re trying your hardest to suck it up with a straw.

We visited on Sunday afternoon, approx 2pm. Only plain and sesame bagels left. What was very frustrating about the seating is I had people’s backsides brushing past my head as there’s no system for waiting for an order. Some customers were also quite annoyed at the fact they only came for a drink and they were waiting forever - maybe look a separate queue system for drinks and that way you have a quicker turnaround.

Was really disappointed visiting her today after hearing amazing things…waited over 45 minutes for our 2 breakfast bagels that had clearly been sat waiting for a while, they were cold and chewy, think there was an issue with them running out of hash browns hence the wait but their was no apology, the hash browns we were served were dripping in oil and were inedible, would have rather them been taken off the order and had the bagels quicker and fresh! Was busy but not as busy as expected so don’t understand how we had this experience, we paid over £30 for the bagels and 2 iced coffees, really would have expected a refund with what happened. My partner asked about the order after we had been waiting over 40 minutes and saw other people getting their orders who had ordered after us, if he had not had done this I don’t think we would have...

Visited Bagels Inc yesterday morning and was quite disappointed by the staffs demeanour, which was surprising as a lot of reviews note they are very friendly.

Unfortunately I had the opposite experience and felt they were very standoffish and blunt as soon as they saw me, which made me uncomfortable to be there. I’ve never left a negative review before and always support small businesses however the front of house staff were notably unfriendly.

Such a shame as I had heard really good things about Bagels Inc but this overshadowed my experience - maybe they were having an off morning but I hope they are more...
