Caffè Tucci — Restaurant in Sheffield

Salvatore and Stefano are proud of opening their second Italian 'Caffè' in Sheffield on 21-May.

Coffee on 22-May was exceptional, the pistachio cake absolutely fabulous and the service exemplary. On a bright sunny afternoon, we enjoyed the busy street bustle of Ecclesall Road and the warmth of the sun on the outside tables.

This family business from Napoli in Italy is very excited about this new venture and knows how smile and look after it's customers. Just off Hunters Bar roundabout on Ecclesall Road, Caffè Tucci is in a prime location for footfall from Ecclesall, Sharrow, Brocco, Greystones and the Endcliffe areas of west Sheffield.

Salvatore and Stefano opened the original Caffè Tucci on Surrey Street in Jan-2022, as a breakfast and brunch restaurant, coffee shop and wine bar. Salvatore said the new Ecclesall Road venue would offer hot food as well as the sandwiches, salads and cakes sold on Surrey...

First off, the sandwich was delicious though at £11, it’s a bit overpriced.

Unfortunately, during our visit, my brother was served pesto on the side of his sandwich, despite clearly informing the staff about his nut allergy. It seems there was no communication between the front of house and the kitchen, and the chef also placed the sandwiches on the same grill — something that should never happen, regardless of communication.

Thankfully, we caught it just in time before he took a second bite, and with a Boots nearby, he only had a mild reaction.

Great food, but poor attention to...

I came today on a busy Saturday, I was greeted with my partner with smiles, straight away the staff was very helpful and was greeted with friendly smiles from the owner, have I got that right... anyway, this was very busy and I already could tell the cafe was very popular. We was seated on a table upstairs, freshly cleaned. I chose the Nutella Coffee which was amazing, my partner had pistachio and Nutella, it was out of this world.

We had 4 deserts. Tiramisú, Croissant with cream patisserie, Pistachio soufflé, Sfogliatella. 5 star deserts. We will certainly be coming again to try your...
