Shocking food . We ordered by mistake (instead from one of the similar names having restaurant .Food there always amazing so was looking forward to it ). When it arrived I could not believe what I see and then I checked my order.. Oh..greedy greek ... Gyros wrap- worst I've ever had . When my husband saw his meal thought it was a joke ! 6 small pieces of chicken ,salad and a piece of bread for 12 pounds?! ( no wonder it's called Greedy Greek huh). Soulless and bland food. Presentation -probably would serve it in a more appealing way to your dogs. If it would not have been take away the food would have sent back . Sorry Greedy Greek ,really not great .

I ordered a wrap from this take away yesterday 2nd November 2021 and wasn't impressed whatsoever, actually I was disgusted! It felt heavy and thought this feels good till I opened the package and the whole sandwich was soggy, it was drowning in sauce, and everything was drowned in sauce. I was looking for the chicken and found what I thought it was chicken but it was a ball of onions. I ended up throwing it away as after a few bits I just felt sick! No more take away from there for me.

I had to come to this place due to my orignal plans for lunch changing, and I'm glad they did. I thoroughly enjoyed my halloumi wrap, there is good choice for vegetarians, the food seems incredibly authentic to Greece to any who have visited there before, and that is due to the people that run it being Greek, and the service is very friendly because of this too! The decorations around this place really emphasized the beauty and splendor of both Ancient and modern day Greece, and the restaurant/deli has all the amenities one would need: Tables outside and inside, nicer dining area upstairs, restroom and access to drinks. I will certainly be coming back again and would recommend anyone to do the same! Έπρεπε να έρθω σε αυτό το μέρος, λόγω των οριζόντιων σχεδίων μου για το μεσημεριανό αλλάζω, και χαίρομαι που το έκαναν. Απόλαυσα απολύτως το χαλουμιού μου, υπάρχει καλή επιλογή για χορτοφάγους, το φαγητό φαίνεται απίστευτα αυθεντικό στην Ελλάδα σε όσους έχουν επισκεφτεί εκεί πριν και αυτό οφείλεται στους ανθρώπους που το τρέχουν είναι Έλληνες και η υπηρεσία είναι πολύ φιλική λόγω του αυτό επίσης! Οι διακοσμήσεις γύρω από αυτό τον τόπο έδωσαν έμφαση στην ομορφιά και το μεγαλείο της αρχαίας και σύγχρονης Ελλάδας και το εστιατόριο / deli έχει όλες τις ανέσεις που θα χρειαζόταν: Τραπέζια έξω και μέσα, ωραίο τραπεζαρία στον επάνω όροφο, τουαλέτα και πρόσβαση σε ποτά. I had to come to this place due to my orignal plans for lunch changing, and I'm glad they did. I thoroughly enjoyed my halloumi wrap, there is good choice for vegetarians, the food seems incredibly authentic to Greece to any who have visited there before, and that is due to the people that run it being Greek, and the service is very friendly because of this too! Unfortunately we had the worst gyros I’ve ever had from here. I ordered 1 meatball wrap and 2 pork and chicken gyros and chips to take away. Firstly the meatball wrap only had one medium meatball on it but in half , very disappointing for the price , then when Opened my gyros visually it looked yummy I was excited for the taste sensation … until I started to eat it … it was SO SO Salty !!! Like they’d put more salt on the meat so you couldn’t taste the poor quality , the meat itself was poor quality and mainly just fatty bits and so chewy (in a bad way ) , and it was just a waste - it all went in the bin (as did my mums as she didn’t like hers either ) it was a complete waste of 24 quid … this place had such a good reputation … and it used to be nice … but I’m off to crookes for Greek food from now on … Very disappointing …. Wish I could get a refund on it it...

The least impressive Greek restaurant I've been to. For the price, this is not what you would expect.

Service is nice but the owner doesnt give anything away for the price you pay. Reused disposable plastic cups on the table, and I suspected microwaved or at the very least reheated, portions of food (for the sit in food like the Kleftiko). Dont me get started on the salads and sides, just read the other reviews you'll get the point.

I think the wraps are good here though, it seems to be what everyone gets, and it seems they're actually cooked on the grill. Everything else sit in was nowhere near the standard you get in other Greek restaurants, let alone Greece. It seems like they are not passionate at all and purely interested in saving pennies. What a shame that I don't feel able to enjoy the food here, as I have done in the past. But it has now lost its appeal.

With the allegations that have arisen regarding below minimum wage pay, aggressive and abusive behaviour towards employees and the dismissal of an employee challenging this, the Greedy Greek is not a place which I feel able to patronise at present until

i. The allegations are addressed and disproven or shown to have been addressed going forwards ii. The employee dismissed for challenging this is reinstated with back pay covering the period of dismissal

Once I am happy with these matters I will gladly visit once more as I have enjoyed the food in the past, and will review once again, when the bad atmosphere has lifted...
