Absolutely stunning. Arrived a little before opening not realising but was greeted when they saw us outside looking at the menu and welcomed us in. An amazing atmosphere for a small place. Even being the only 2 in there at the time we didn't feel out of place in the slightest. Very friendly and had some great conversations over the couple of hours. The food was absolutely fantastic and very well priced, I've paid far, far more for inferior Indian meals over the years. The menu has plenty of choice without being overwhelming, the recommendations we got were fantastic. They're around an hour away from me, maybe a little more but we're already planning to go back with my son soon and have recommended them to everyone we've spoken to about our evening out. The only disappointment was on our side for not being able to stay longer and enjoy dessert and the company longer. Being from Nottingham we've never stayed over in Sheffield as it's quite close to not warrant a night or 2 away for any reason but we've already decided out next weekend away will be Sheffield, the sole reason being to enjoy flame fusion again with both of us being able to enjoy some drinks along...
Read moreI usually don't buy indian cuisine as restaurants usually have supar flavour, I could make better food. Ate here last week after seeing some of these reviews.
This was possibly the best dining experience I've had. Was asked how spicy i'd like the curries and how I would like the chappatis cooked. The food was impeccable - you could taste the flavour, spice, and most importantly the freshness of the ingredients. Truly at a caliber above all of the indian restaurants I've been to. If these curries are anything to go by, I can only imagine how amazing the rest of the menu is. The customer service was impeccable as well, you can tell the owner cares about what he does. It really is a hidden gem, I'd give more than five stars if I could, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m...
Read moreHidden gem in Sheffield. The owner and chef is incredibly proud and passionate about his venue. It’s not about making tons of money, it’s about delivering food he is happy to serve and him being able to have his guests enjoy their time there.
It wasn’t just a rush in and out restaurant- we felt like we had a private table (there’s only a few tables at the venue and in the night we were the only booking) where we were be by guided, delighted and catered to by an extremely passionate chef.
The quality and taste of the food is outstanding and it is not pretentious or expensive - just delicious and worth every penny. Do not be put off by where it is, by how it looks from the outside or the fact that it’s a tiny venue - give it a try and you’ll be recommending it to your...
