Absolutely horrific experience on my second visit last night. Please read THOROUGHLY.
First of all, we arrived to our table being already seated to people whom hadn’t even started paying let alone finishing their drinks etc so we had to wait an extra 30 minutes to be seated.
Secondly, couldn’t hear a single thing due to the music being SO loud. We have been to plenty of bottomless brunches including this one before, and never had music that loud. I couldn’t even hear the person sat next to me let alone in-front.
Thirdly, we sat a further 20+ minutes for our drinks order in which took a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. We sat a further 20 minutes to then we had to ask to order our food in which we were told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes… obviously after a complaint at the lack of service to begin with we were able to order our food. Whilst we watched numerous plates of food being brought out throughout our brunch.
The food when it finally did arrive was great! No complaints there whatsoever. We did have to start ordering drinks in 2s to make up for the lack of drinks to begin with and we were somewhat satisfied from that.
We were offered a free shot each for the lack of service we received throughout the brunch…
HOWEVER, when we did come to leave what I witnessed from THE OWNER of the establishment was absolutely horrendous and disgusting behaviour.
We watched him, along with his friend - whom was each equally of a big build one rather tall. Dragging a girl half their size UNWILLINGLY to god knows where. Luckily enough our party along with her friends - not the security whom I thought was there to provide “security” might I add was able to get them both off her whilst security then had to literally tackle this man into a table to get him on the floor and take his friend outside whom claimed “was trying to help” whilst not letting go of her when being dragged and told to let go.
Upon speaking to the group of girls who had to witness their friend go through such a horrible experience we then learnt that they actually not only spoke to the bar staff about their strange behaviour and how uncomfortable they were being made to feel by both men twice their age who told them “we can’t do anything he’s the owner”, they also spoke to security who told them “he pays our bills so I can only just supervise”. This is outrageous and I can’t even imagine how the turn of events would’ve been had these two men managed to actually take the girl to wherever they felt and what they’d have done.
Absolutely appalling and disgusting to have witnessed and it’s a shame that we can’t even rely on people who are supposed to help...
Read moreWe booked for 6 people for bottomless brunch before 1:30pm on Saturday 23rd November. We paid £60 deposit and all joined the brunch club for £5 off. Therefore, brunch should have been £29 each, £19 each minus the deposit! When we arrived on the table there was only a festive brunch menu for £39 each, we asked the waitress multiple times to make sure we wasn’t paying the festive price which she informed us we wasn’t paying for the festive brunch, however we was charged £24 each at the end of our brunch. We informed the manager of the error, who informed us to email which he would pick up Monday, why couldn’t a refund have been given there and then, as it was your error? The waitress just apologised and said but we do need the table back! Therefore, I am owed £35, including the deposit back from the person that didn’t turn up, as it wouldn’t have made a difference to the table we was put on, as there was 5 of us and due to the poor experience. I shouldn’t be messing about having to write this email, because you overcharged us.
Just to add…
We only had 5 cocktails each, as the service was slow and they wouldn’t take our order until we had empty glasses, then we was waiting 10-15 minutes for another drink. When we asked the waitress for another drink, she said have you got some coming on the way, to which we replied no, as we didn’t but she actually doubled checked as though we was lying before processing our next drinks order through. At any other brunch place, turtle bay etc the minimum cocktails we get is at least 8!
We won’t be returning as you get much more for your money at other brunch places, the food was tasty but there just wasn’t enough and we was still hungry after the meal.
The General Manager replied to my email, not even acknowledging our experience:
"As agreed on the day we will refund you the additional charge of £5 per person.
Unfortunately, we keep deposits for any party members who don’t show up, this is made clear at the time of booking and I did explain this on the day to the lady I spoke to and she seemed to understand.

Read moreWORST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH EVER!!!! Do not go when the football is on!!! We booked our table about a month ago and I don’t follow the football so I had no idea, but when we got there it was absolutely packed! We waited 15 minutes to be seated, and when we eventually were someone was sat on our table, so we got asked which table we wanted to move… all of the tables were right in the middle of the chaos! They plonked a bottle of Prosecco down and I shared my concerns at the beginning to which the girl agreed that it is super busy so service will take a little longer. I went to the loo to find there was an area roped off for bookings which was much quieter and had its own bar. I found the supervisor to ask why we weren’t sat in that area and she basically admitted that our booking had been an after thought. She said that they won’t stop taking people in until they were at capacity and they were no where near capacity at that point. Even though the bar was 4 rows deep and the staff couldn’t keep up. Took us over an hour to get any of the drinks we ordered. People kept coming over to take an order but they just weren’t arriving! My burger was absolutely disgusting! It tasted like one of those frozen ones! My friend said the Korean chicken was nice though! By then I was too starving to complain about the food. Eventually lots of drinks did a arrive and they did say to not worry about the time but we had a train to catch so didn’t stay much over the 2 hours! Extremely disappointing. The supervisor did give us £5 off each for the bad service. I certainly won’t be returning! Such a shame cause I was really looking forward to trying something new.
