Kebabish Express — Restaurant in Sheffield

Appalling customer service. My Just Eat order was cancelled. Due to having an autistic child, I thought it would be a lot more simple to collect my order.

Initially, they refused to serve me due to apparent racism. 60 plus % of my family is of the same ethnicity! What I dislike is the fact that I apparently stated bumbaclart to them. Due to my skin colour I not only find that insulting, but racism within itself.

Then I was told that I had apparently threatened them (I'm a single female who just wanted to get my child their favourite takeaway).

I asked for the so called recording of the apparent racist/threatening phone call, Yet they were unable to provide me this.

What I was confronted with was 3 aggressive male (employees) that brought me to tears. And yes I contacted the police on my arrival home as I felt very scared after the ordeal.

Oh and I'm apparently ao racist below and you can see my child in their eid clothes.

Another Edit. SO DO NOT ORDER IF YOU LIVE IN A FLAT. NEVER MIND COMING TO MY ACTUAL DOOR, BUT THE DRIVER COULD NOT EVEN BE BOTHERED TO GET OUT OF HIS CAR AND MEET ME AT RECEPTION. SO IN THE DARK OF NIGHT, DRESSED ONLY IN MY NIGHTWEAR, I HAD TO LEAVE MY CHILD INDOORS AND MEET A RANDOM MAN IN THE CARPARK TO COLLECT MY FOOD. Only thing I'm thankful for with this particular order is the only thing you forgot this time round was a salad.

2nd EDIT: So after I just as I wrote an updated review about how well you were doing, today you forgot 2 dips. I even wrote a note on just eat stating "Please don't forget dips and salad".

EDIT:My previous review is like 4 years old, so I thought I'll add more info. Firstly I have been ordering from this Kebabish for about 30 years (From bk in the days when it was just a tiny little takeaway). I must admit the below comment was a one off. But still deserves to stay up so it does not happen again. Anyway, for a change I ordered the Piri piri half chicken and it was mouth watering. I should have ordered a full one. And I must point out that these days they actually complete an order. As in the past, they would always forget something small like a drink or a dip. But for as long as I can remember, for a long time now all my orders have been flawless.

Well..... Ordered a takeaway and found a hair in my wedges, the doner was hard and overly greasy. The salad with my Chicken burger was pure onion and the burger bun was over toasted. In total, we ordered 5 burgers and asked to have them with wedges but when they arrived they...

Extremely rude and unhelpful woman on the phone. I can see from other reviews she's a problem for many. Had some good takeaways from here before, and the food can be nice (it's very inconsistent), but the actual times and delivering are a total mess. They tell you it's "on its way" 20 mins after you ordered. Then an hour goes by with nothing. Then you ring up (after getting a busy line 7 times) to deal with a rude woman who eventually handed me to someone else because she doesn't seem to be able to do her job. Guy says it will be "2 minutes". I say "Will it really be 2 minutes? Just give me an honest time". He says "Yeah they're just packing it now". So it won't be 2 mins and they obvs forgot my order and are starting to make it. 20 mins later I ring again to check if it's on the way and get the horrible woman who tells me I "should have some patience" (unbelievable!!!) and that it would take another 20 mins on top of that. So, 40 mins rather than 2 mins. This whole entire time there are no updates to the JustEat order (there never are with this place) and the food eventually arrives 2 hours late, with no apology or explanation from the driver. The food was barely warm, so even after all that it had somehow been sat around for a while. Naan was cold and stale like it had been made hours before. They got one order wrong and put chips instead of wedges. I can just about forgive that but what I can't forgive is a long thick black hair in the incorrect food. Just ridiculous. Had problems with them before but kept coming back because of the good deals, but this was the worst ever and they've lost this customer...

I would have given them no star if I could.

Ordered food on phone with them. Took me ages to get the lady understood what I wanted (I've ordered it before). I repeated I need grilled chicken strips, and she said ok ok, but came up with the wrong food than what I ordered. When I rang them back to let them know, the same lady on phone was super offensive with no sense of respect, which personally I've never seen before. Even she said that we do not have the food you are talking about. I've asked her to tell me her name, she obviously refused. She finally passed the phone to another completely rude guy who said: "I can't do anything for you". Then finally they sent one of their drivers (way kinder and more respectful than those I talked to) and collected the food and refunded back the money.

What bothered me most, was not receiving the wrong food, it was how disrespectful and rude they were to me.

I had guests at home and had to treat them, but eventually ended up ordering food from Uber Eat.
