Well I would've liked to leave a real review but I couldn't. After checking maps and other social media for Sunday opening times ( 1600 ) we took the 20 minute walk up from our usual Kelham pubs to try this out. Got here 1830 and the place was in darkness and silence . So off we went on another 20 minute walk back to Kelham area . Don't mind I little walk to a decent pub but I'm yet to know if this place is . Got my steps in for the day though 🙂 An update of opening times of they have changed would help , trying to support our local pubs and breweries the walk gave me a thirst for more ale 🍺 .

My first visit to this pub, I came here to check out their real ciders as they had just been awarded CAMRA Cider pub of the year. A large pub with a nice little beer garden where live bands perform. The landlady Steph was super welcoming, I tried out several ciders while here. I will definitely be back again.

Best pub we've been in in a long time. So friendly . Great choice if drinks particularly beer with brilliant prices. The outside courtyard is dream. We went for a private quiz night for our church but will certainly be back. Thankyou! We didn't eat so I don't know about the food!

Absolutely terrific pub. I have enjoyed many delicious pints in here. The landlady Steph, really knows how to look after her beer and with a terrific selection of beers on you won't be disappointed. Always a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, but most importantly during these times its spotlessly clean too.

My friends have supported this pub during these difficult times, and speak highly of the excellent adherence to the rules by both staff and other pub goers alike ensuring everyone is kept safe and can enjoy a pint or two with friends. Saying that the beer and atmosphere is so good, inevitably you'll want to stay and drink more.

Two years running this pub has won an award for Cider pub of the year from CAMRA, and is without doubt one of the greatest pubs in the UK whatever your tipple.

Weekly quiz nights, regular comedy nights, live music in better times, or just a pint with friends this pub is one of the nations...

I've not rated the food because I've never eaten there, but the beer is always in good condition! The pub is a little Spartan but it has character and is very popular. The pub is always clean and the bar staff are polite and friendly. There is a decent choice of Real Ales and Lager, but I don't know about choice of spirits as I don't drink them, but I have been told they have a decent choice of those too. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the lighting is a little unsubtle, otherwise it's a good pub. The pub occasionally hosts several folk dance sides and...
