Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Sheffield

I have a local morrisons and visit their cafe regularly with no complaints.... I do travel to Sheffield on occasion and stay at a hotel in Hillsborough with a morrisons right next door. We went for breakfast and I ordered porridge and 2 crumpets. I waited 20 minutes and when it came it was raw. The oats were still visibly hard. I sent it back and whilst waiting a waitress came out and was shouting to see if anyone had ordered a toasted teacake. No one claimed it so she went back to the kitchen (presumably to see what the table number was) and came out and came over and started to serve me the teacake. Went Saturday morning for a brekky. No staff about waited 2-3 minutes then I started looking for a member of staff who eventually came out. Brekky came there was no ash brown the the bacon looked like it hadn’t been cooked. When pointed this out to staff she said it’s cooked in the oven at a set temperature. I touched it and it was clock cold it felt like they had just got it out of the fridge. Sausage very weird consistency mushroom rubbery and watery beans Luke warm.Needless to say I won’t be going again to any Morrisons for food as they have gone down hill massively and it’s a shame cus their breakfasts used to be lovely. We walked in at 9.30 Sat morning which you would expect to be busy, to find about 3 customers in a large echoey unwelcoming space, no staff to be seen, (there was someone apparently but out back) no visible menus apart from a smeary dirty touchscreen where you could order which was being used. Just about managed to access menu via qr code on table but felt so put off by the whole setting that we left. We went to Crawshaws butchers where we were welcomed by a happy smiling staff member (about 6 staff working away in there)and took away hot freshly made breakfast sandwiches. The experience says very little for Morissons a d it just seemed they were trying to save money by having no staff on and automated services....
