The Clubhouse — Restaurant in Sheffield

Large open plan pub on the edge of the city centre and a stone's throw from Bramall Lane (so a regular haunt for Blades fans). Superb real ale range at great prices (I paid £3.50 for a Belgian Blue). It has a modern, yet traditional feel. Sports themed, naturally!! How things change. Went in 4th May 2025 to find folk queing to get a drink, probably thinking they were waiting for a bus; two staff on despite there being a charity match at the Lane; no real ales anymore and Stella that was flat and tastless. Complain? They were too busy unfortunately otherwise I would have. Knock this one off the list. A shame following my first...

I was in today, the Clubhouse is generally sleepy but a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly (great for an after work pint). However today a man who had drank a few started causing trouble. One of the bar staff immediately dealt with the situation in a professional and calm manner. I was extremely impressed by it and want to commend her on sorting out this difficult task. If she isn't already a supervisor or manager, she deserves to be.

Nobody is paid enough for that so I left her a tip as thanks. I hope the management (if she is not the manager) sees this and appreciates what great...

Isn't much surprised that this good looking pub is empty.... when bar staff telling you they are not interested for coming missing beer because he's don't like it....... hmm, maybe for this bar staff is time to change job... just go to some food factory to packing sausages all year....so, don't know what I can say about this pub.... maybe in future will be good when is put to Sarah hand.
