Seems like a good chippy overall, very good fish cake butties and a few weeks ago I tried small fish and chips although I wished I put my own salt and vinegar on as the staff member put loads of salt on, she did say tell me how much but can't tell when others are doing it.

Had to go back for more vineger as it was very salty. I went in and asked if I can have more vineger man said of course put as much on as you want, but why couldn't I do that to begin with? They use one of those salt pots with about 10 holes in so beware as just need a little sprinkle.

Saying this, they were very friendly though and...

Got fish and chips from here recently they were the worst Iv had in a long time . The batter on the fish had that stodgy uncooked lining inside, the fish was not fresh and had a strange smell I couldn't eat it . What a shame but how can you get batter so wrong when that's all you do ?? Thought we would try this place again they were as bad as before soggy batter with some of the fish actually raw , Undercooked chips...

First visit as I always seem to either have no loose cash or miss the opening times...Staff were lovely, I had small fish and chips ..fish was fresh and flaked beautifully, are came home hot...chips were traditional chippy chips...both crunchy and soft mix... depending on your fave.... The quality was excellent and the wall was full of people munching happily before they continued their walks.......
