Very trendy place that relies heavily on its ethics to set a mood. I could not see a mission statement or much info at all, but they did have a poster with a food not bombs sort of slogan. The decor is wooden seats and tables that have been reclaimed, hard flooring etc. There are picnic benches outside on the roadside. To your right on entry, the cake cabinet is impressive and tempting. They also sell pastries and designer slow fermented breads as well as special sandwiches. There is a board on the wall with today's sandwich specials. Find yourself a seat, and someone will serve you although it might not be the fastest service you've ever known. Great finds if you're looking for ethically sourced ingredients I imagine, but prepare yourself for the prices. The little shop is such a nice touch and we also bought 3 sourdough loaves. Wish they had a few more vegan bakes but Iâm just being greedy, everything about this place...
