Poor! As sad as it sounds, I do love a McDonald's, but this branch has put me right off and a branch that potentially has the potential to cause a bad reputation. Ordered using self service terminal which was no problem and straight forward, as a family of 5 we ordered various items trying out the new chichen Mac and a Mc cheesy bacon quarter pounder meal with the kids having chicken mayo burgerx2 and 1 having nuggets as a meal deal overall spending over £25. So I could see the food was ready on a tray, but the chap serving seemed to leave it on the side until the drinks were ready. 1 of the 5 drinks was ready, and he squeezed it onto the tray and continued with other orders while waiting for the remaining 4 drinks. It seemed to take a while, and at this point, I demanded my food as it was getting cold. He ignored me and said to his colleague that all the drinks won't fit on this tray. She suggested using another tray. I then insisted on taking my tray. Finally he gave me the food and I delivered it to my table, the drinks were finally ready on my return. My wife's burger was cold and had no cheese or little to be seen as it clearly stated cheesy, I insisted on returning it but she didn't want the hassle, we all ordered milkshake and only my wife's was chocolate. Myself and the children had vanilla but none of us could suck up the vanilla as it seemed frozen, normally I'm used to trying hard to bring it to the tip of the straw but it wasn't happening. It's weird, especially from the children, but we all said never again. It was disgusting and an experience I never had when visiting a McDonald's. This branch needs reviewing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor the past couple months I have had bad experiences at this MacDonalds branch, so because of this I felt it necessary to give a review. Bad Experience No 1: Coming home from work near midnight, I wanted a milkshake, so went in to order from main counter because drive-thru looked like chaos, only to be told their systems were down. Fair enough, however read onā¦Bad Experience No 2: On my way home from work again near midnight, very tired and very hungry, decide to go through the drive-thru. I was sat in the drive-thru behind other cars for almost 30 mins. There was no management of this situation whatsoever, I had to get out of my car to knock on the window to tell them to manage the traffic, why should I have to do this. If there is an issue internally, we donāt know what is going on as a drive-thru customer, manage the situation better. Manager eventually came out, but seemed uninterested. Bad Experience No 3: On my way to work in the morning, decide get a coffee via drive-thru, yip yet another problem, coffee machine and soft drinks machine not working, which leads on to No 4⦠Bad Experience No 4: Their soft drinks machines have been out of action for almost 2 weeks, and itās summer right now, so people want cold drinks with their food. Honestly, this is not acceptable from a giant franchise like MacDonalds. I spend a lot of money with your branch, so I am definitely entitled to a say something here. In the meantime Iāll go to a different branch in the area and would suggest the same to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIs it now national McDonalds policy to never give out sauces? Even when you select them on the electronic order screen and they appear on your receipt, McDonalds staff here (and elsewhere) will hardly EVER put those sauces with your order. After a while this starts to get aggravating. Realistically, how many people are not going want any Ketchup, or curry sauce? I'd guess 99% of customers DO want them. So it is laziness? Or is McDonalds deliberately holding back to scrimp and save? It's pathetic and annoying.
Yesterday when handed my order in a bag I asked if he'd put the sauce in, and of course I was met with a blank stare and asked "what sauce do you want?". So I'm looking at my receipt to see which sauces were selected. Now shouldn't HE be looking at my order and putting those sauces in? It sounds like a minor issue, but after it happens every damn time in McDonalds it starts to get irritating. It's even worse when you're in a drive thru and you drive off only to discover later on there is no sauce.
You need to shake up your service policy McDonalds. Instruct your staff to put the correct sauces in the order WITHOUT having to be asked to do so.
It doesn't help also when you get home and discover your wrap looks like someone has poked their finger in it....
