A Masterclass in Hospitality and Cuisine – Renaizance, Slough
As a food critic and someone with a deep appreciation for exceptional culinary execution, I had the pleasure of dining at Renaissance in Slough for a business dinner with an important client and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations on every front.
From the moment we arrived, the standard of service was nothing short of outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely hospitable, striking the perfect balance between formality and warmth. It was immediately evident that the team takes immense pride in what they do. No request was too much and every detail was considered, ensuring both myself and my guest felt not only welcomed but truly valued.
The food, however, was where Renaizance truly set itself apart. We sampled a selection of dishes including the Lamb Madras, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala each one an explosion of layered, aromatic flavour. The Lamb Madras offered the perfect marriage of heat and depth, while the Butter Chicken was rich, velvety, and impeccably balanced. The Tikka Masala was a standout vibrant, fragrant, and masterfully spiced.
And then, the lamb chops easily among the best I have tasted in recent years. Tender, succulent, and marinated to perfection, they were bursting with bold, smoky flavour and cooked to an exquisite finish. It is rare to find such attention to texture and seasoning executed so precisely.
Portions were generous without being excessive, allowing us to enjoy a broad range of dishes without ever feeling overwhelmed. The presentation was elegant, and the restaurant’s decor and atmosphere struck a fine balance between contemporary chic and traditional warmth, ideal for a business setting yet relaxed enough to enjoy the meal at a leisurely pace.
Overall, Renaizance delivers a first class dining experience that blends superb service, thoughtful hospitality, and exceptional food in a way that few establishments manage. Both myself and my client were deeply impressed and I will certainly be returning, not just for business, but for the sheer pleasure of dining here again.

Read moreIt was my son's birthday and the start of holy Navratri. So we chose to eat only vegetarian food today. We had been here before around a year back and had a good experience. This time, they took it to the next level. I. Starters, we ordered Shaslik Paneer (tikka) and Renaizance Mushrooms which were filled with cheese, crispy fried and then sauted in a tangy n spicy sauce. Best tasting mushrooms ever. Then in the main course, we had Daal Banjara and Paneer Tikka Masala. Both were yummy. Garlic 🫓 Naan were fluffy n soft which melted in mouth. We asked for their Green Chutney and if you are there, just ask for it. It goes really well with both starters and mains. (We even asked them to pack two small packs for home which they obliged very happily 😉). They also recently introduced a robot which brought my son's cake and also played Happy Birthday song with flashing lights. It was good and entertaining experience. In drinks, I ordered Mocktails - Blueberry Mojito, Pinacolada and Mango Lassi. They were good too. Overall, I was highly impressed with service given, great food and ambience and free parking outside. Special thanks to Dipali, Dinesh and Julian for making our birthday celebration experience very memorable. Would definitely recommend and come back again as they serve proper authentic food in a rich, luxurious ambience with highly skilled people. Hats off to the...
Read moreOne of the best Indian restaurants in Slough. Recently launched Indian restaurant in Slough area and already carving a niche for itself, it outclasses most of the existing restaurants in terms of ambiance, comfortable seating, layout, food quality, taste, presentation and price point. I visited with family and friends and was pleasantly surprised. The three course meal we had with drinks was in the range of £20 to £25 per person - very a reasonable price range. For starters, the menu is a bit creative and unorthodox and might not appeal to everyone. - Hence 4 stars. Main course was perfect with authentic Indian taste for veg and non-veg dishes, the bread and chutney were impressive as well. For desserts we had kulfi as suggested by the manager and it was awesome from presentation, aroma, taste and texture - just perfect to finish a very satisfying dinner. I hope they add a few run of the mill starters to cater for conservative palate.
Staff are amazing, helpful and polite, always present but not hovering. The location and availability of limited but free parking add to the appeal of Renaizance.
Over all a very deserving, decent and promising restaurant. PS: This is a requested but...
