Secret gem in Colnbrook, best restaurant in the area. It is actually best italian restaurant i have been in past few years. Fantastic pizza, very thin with fresh ingredients. big choice of pastas, you need to be Italian to know what they are are :) Menu is really big, there is choice for everyone. Apart of pizza and pasta there is lots of meat dishes, chicken, pork, beef and fish plus some veggietarian options, definetely something to choose for everyone. Atmosphere i sreally nice, waiters come regulary to check on you, offer bread for starter, comes with freshly grounded pepper and parmezan. Ask for chilli oliwe oil, it i samazing, i always put a lot on top of the pizza, it is hot. Ceiling is covered with winevines, in summer you can find grapes hanging above your head. There is garden at the back but nothing special, i think if the owner could copy inside decoration and the atmosphere and adapt the garden that would be awesome. At the moment it is just typical british beer garden :) Waiters are great, they are very professional and polite. Some of them are Italian i believe. Used to there was old man there, proper italian :) coming from the table to the table and chatting with customers, i mean ladies mainly, thats why i know he was real Italian :) I am joking but he did make atmospere amazing. There is pizza owen visible from restaurant, with the old man chatting with customers it made feeling you are actually in italy. i am going there regulary, it is not expensive for such quality restaurant. For example pizzas are 10 to 14 pound and they are large, hard to eat especially for woman. Thank...

I ordered the seafood risotto for my main, and all but 2 of the mussels on the plate were closed, only a millimetre or two of a gap between the shells severed up to me. Asking for the plate to be looked at, it was returned to me moments later, with the shells having been prised apart. Upset I was served a meal with badly cooked mussels in the first place, the idea I might have eaten them because they were prised open was an insult. When I questioned the bill and why my main meal was still on the there, I was told I was wrong, and the mussels were perfectly cooked. If the manager had said sorry, we got it wrong, I could accept it, but to imply I was wrong on my appraisal of the cooking was very upsetting.
It wasn’t busy, and the staff stayed beyond their normal close time to accommodate our group, the others in our group had a nice experience, but I personally couldn’t recommend the establishment given the food served to me, and the insistence I was wrong about improperly...

The service is attentive without being rushed with the friendly staff quickly able to ascertain which tables are just dropping in for a bite to eat and those on an evening out.
Within 10/15 minutes of Heathrow terminals 2 and 3 as well as terminal 5 along with having its own carpark the restaurant is well placed for those after something more interesting and far better quality of cooking than airport business like anonimity.
For those with more time on their hands, given the high volume of diners on a Thursday and Friday early evening it would appear those living more locally have taken the...
