The Taj Mahal — Restaurant in Slough

What an unassuming, hidden little gem.... This place isn't somewhere you would generally drive past, or even be tempted to try if you did.... But you would be missing out, very good food, the starter was really nice, and the tandoori meats had an exceptional flavour.... The courses where not too large (a good thing meaning you can enjoy a decent starter as well)

The mains were really good, I actually preferred my Wife's dish (Garlic Chilli Chicken), but mine was pretty good too (Chicken Dansak), just not quite the best I have ever had)

The service was fabulous, though we were the only customers this night, but felt like nothing was too much to ask and the guy was really friendly and attentive with out becoming imposing.

If you are ever in the area, maybe before flying out from Heathrow, I would certainly recommend this place and will definitely go back the next time we...

The food came out piping hot and so fresh.

We ordered the garlic and chilli naan and the chilli naan was spicy, so make sure u like spice… we got the mixed kabab which the chicken tikka in it was incredible so juicy and tender…. Wasn’t a fan of the shiek kabab… and the popodoms were so fresh, the chutney tray was nice and chilled, fresh and clean…

We ordered chicken jale which the flavours were also incredible… again very spicy! 🥵 we got a side of curry sauce and it was beautiful! We would def return here agin!

The service is amazing… the owner rushes to the door to open it for you. Superb service…. The younger lady working was super sweet.

I called immediately once the driver left to tell them my Cheese Nann is hard like it was made this morning and it's not edible. They agreed to bring my Nann after I said I wanted it with the meal I paid for tonight. They didn't bring my nann and didn't contact me to let me know.

I had to call them back to find out what's happening, they tried refusing my request for my money back for failing to give me my food.
