Riverside Transport Cafe — Restaurant in Slough

I've sent all me nx coach drivers here. It's a bit on the expensive side for us poorly paid coach drivers. but you get great value for your money and also a decent mug of tea plus the food is absolutely piping hot and fresh great portions staff are lovely too . Plus it's off the road so parking is veey good. Not many places like around. Would. Be great to park on a Sunday afternoon as well as its only ten minutes drive from terminal 5 for our pickups. Overall I've nginf but great compliments from my fellow colleagues at Galloways coaches. Ans others one that do private hire I tell them all to come to Riverside you won't leave there starving...

Great food, and excellent staff. I’d love to give this little gem 5* but unfortunately due to the parking area and showers I can’t 😔

The showers are fine, but for £2 you only get about 2 minutes… 😰 it would be better to up the price and give at least 5 minutes of hot water.

Parking area is rough, extremely dusty in dry weather, very muddy in wet!

Now saying all that, the food here is absolutely fantastic, decent portions and a good selection to choose from.

To the owners: Please address the shower issue, it’s not possible to wash and rinse in the given time period. 😜😜

I would like to say thank you to the staff at riverside transport cafe and recommend this site to all HGV drivers to visit and stay over night. Whilst I was delivering in Bristol I had a family emergency where I needed to be asap. (My company site North Wales). I spoke to riverside transport cafe and straight away with no problems allowed me to park From Thursday till Monday and kept my truck safe until my return. Also due to the nature of the emergency a lovely staff member offered to give me a lift to Windsor when I arrived on the Thursday.
