McDonald's — Restaurant in South Derbyshire

Ordered using the uber eats app, absolutely outraged, firstly the uber drive took my food without knocking and i caught him leaving with it, and then when i took the food i realised my drink had been put in a bag on its side allowing it to soak through my bag and drip all over my carpet, when i told the driver and showed him he told me to contact the store to arrange another delivery, i did that and the store manager kept saying that he couldn't hear me and that i'd need to go into store for him to sort anything, what on earth is the point in a delivery service if you need to go into store because of someones incompetence, i say this because who thinks its a good idea to put a drink into a bag on its side! i contacted uber and they demanded pictures, i told them that the last thing on my mind was to take pictures while the drink was spilling all over my floor. This is the first and last time i use the mcdelivery app, i used it because i'm currently at home ill, so there solution of me going into store just...

I recently ordered a shared meal from McDonald's in Swadlincote, which was supposed to include four burgers and four chips. Unfortunately, only two burgers arrived, though all four chips were included.

When I called McDonald's to report the missing items, they directed me to contact Uber. I did, and Uber processed a refund for the missing items. However, I was informed that the refund would take up to 15 days to appear in my account.

This is extremely disappointing, as I ordered the meal for immediate consumption, not expecting to wait 15 days to get my money back. This situation technically forces me to take extra money out of my account to reorder the missing items, extending the wait time even further. Which I won't be doing as I've lost my appetite.

Overall, I am very dissatisfied with this experience and am unlikely to order from McDonald's again. The delay in the refund process and the initial error in fulfilling the order has left me frustrated and...

I think McDonalds Swadlincote may be the worst McDonalds in the country, 3 weeks ago we ordered a mcdelivery, when it arrived it was cold and there were items missing. We were then passed between McDonalds and Uber Eats who were both saying we needed to speak to the other party. Eventually we got some vouchers to spend which we did last night, when the delivery driver arrived his opening comment was `If its cold speak with McDonalds as the food as been in the bag for 45 minutes waiting for other orders' Then when we opened the bag half the food was missing again. Things don't get any better if you go to the drive through, they often get your orders incorrect which if you don't check it there and then you get home and find out your order is wrong, whats the point in having a drive through if you then have to go in to sort the order out.

I would avoid this McDonalds if you can, its been open a while now but has never...
