Peggs Bar & Street Food — Restaurant in South Derbyshire

Tonight we went to Peggs bar for food and are shocked... HOW HAVE WE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE!

The staff was lovely! Bali made an effort to know us personally and gave us the kind of service I have not experienced in a long time!

Food was high quality, tasty and very well priced! As per recommendations from staff we got the munch box - 2 burgers, 6 wings, chips and onion rings! You can tell food is all hand made and fried! We followed up with milkshakes too!

The owner Bali took time to explain to us events going ahead in the future (sip and paint bottomless drink event sounds great!)

Popped in for a drink, been eyeing this place up for a while. The vibe was weird, they couldn't decide on music. They played reggae when we got there and then some punk music and after they skipped about 8songs trying to find the right one. Djs gonna dj. Me and the wife ordered cocktails, 2 for £16. A bit rough, my whiskey wasnt ground breaking but ive had worse. The pina colada was leaving a lot to be desired, tasted like a store bought mixer. Didnt try the food so gave an average rating. Not sure who theyre catering for but for sure not the 30-40’s - i would say if youre 30+ go ice and slice instead. Its expensive but you know what...

Literally the best place in Swad! We have been quite a few times now for Wing Wednesdays which are always incredible. We have been wanting to try the Munch box for a while now, but with it being new year, been trying to lose some weight. BUT on saturday night we decided to take a walk down to have one as a treat, when we got there the place was BUZZING! so busy it was difficult to get a seat, so we ended up having a pint and heading home BUT when we got home, we ordered the munch box to be delivered by Just Eat. and WOW seriously incredible!!!
