Dream turkish kitchen — Restaurant in South Hams

We Came from out of city to this restaurant for my 5 year anniversary. Ordered 2 dishes one lamb or chicken. The chicken was nice which I shared with my husband. However the lamb was hard and chewy. So I asked for it to be sent back. Assumed they would make a new one or offer something else. The waiter came back to us to tell us they could only reheat the lamb. Me and my husband was confused. The chef then came out, rudely accused us of eating half of the dish which we didn’t. I took the smallest bite into a piece which was enough for me to send it back. I told the chef, If your not going offer something else then I didn’t want that lamb back. He said that’s fine and walked away. We was so taken back. When it came to the bill. The owner over heard giving our feedback to the waiter about the food & the Chef. The owner seemed so annoyed with us & told us to have it on the house aggressively!. Had dinner here for the first time last week, after hearing great things about Dream Turkish Kitchen and wow it didn’t disappoint!

Had some cold & hot meze to start which tasted delicious, followed by the mix grill which was authentic and outstanding in flavour!

Finished off with a delicious desert, Katmer and a Turkish coffee which was also great!

The service was fantastic. Friendly and warm staff.

The lady who is front of house was great and nothing was too much trouble.

As a Cypriot, I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant!

The food and service are faultless and look forward to visiting again in the coming weeks!

When I saw this Turkish restaurant had arrived in Kingsbridge, I was full of hopes that it would be authentic, quality food but not outlandish prices. After a visit yesterday I'm pleased to report that it scored 5 stars in all area's. I am ashamed to say that the Kleftico feast that arrived, beat me and I left some behind. Warning, you are greeted with some warm bread and dips before your menu choice arrives.. tread carefully because the food that arrives will leave your clothing feeling very tight.
