I want to start off by saying this place was STUNNING, one of the most beautiful cafes I've ever been in!? It was really quiet when we went in, but by the time we were leaving it was busy (we got there really early) We had the ham and cheese croissant and the pistachio croissant..both were delicious, I think the cheese and ham could have been nicer warmed up but we weren't given the option for that. Regardless the food was great! I ordered a cappuccino and my partner got a white hot chocolate and in his words it was the "best white hot chocolate he's ever had" and hes has hundreds of the things 😂 The coffee is really nice, slightly on the bitter side, and strong! Planned to eat in so sat down, my wife used the bathroom and upon leaving the bathroom got given the 3rd degree asking why we weren't in the que and why were we inside?! I used the toilet and got the same. We decided to leave because you were rude and made it beyond awkward to stay. I actually offered to stay and eat in even after this (I make a point of never abusing people's facilities and always spend money if I'm using the bathroom etc) but just got more attitude so we went to an alternative pasty shop. One star for the friendly staff, and one for a nice cup of coffee. As for everything else, well it's a bit of a let down to be honest. When we arrived, we couldn't see through the windows for all the condensation running down them, the air inside being very humid. The place is generally scruffy and soul-less, our table propped up on a dirty screwed up napkin, and the adjacent door mat not having seen a decent clean for days ( no way that much dirt accumulates in a couple of hours on a Sunday morning).
