Second visit to Harbour House Kitchen and the sunny garden . This time for coffee and a generous slice of the most superb freshly made Rhubarb Frangipani . Both were perfection . (When last there I enjoyed lunch of fabulous soup and wholesome seeded bread )
This simple wee restaurant is a gem tucked away from the main hustle of Kingsbridge where Helen and her team offer delicious freshly made food . Everything chosen is of the highest quality.

Read moreI used to love this cafe. Was my favourite place for coffee and lunch in Kingsbridge, but it's been taken over recently and just isn't the same. There is limited choice in the menu, the portions are small, the cakes in particular are tiny, (and expensive), and all either chocolate or nut based. The coffee too strong and bitter for my taste. And the cafe is empty! No one here at all, when it used to be packed, and very lively. No wonder I guess. It's still a lovely cafe with a gorgeous garden, I think the new owners are trying hard, but missing the mark...
