With so many cafes to choose from in Totnes, we decided to give these guys a try. They are at the top of the main street in Totnes - well worth the visit. The staff were lovely and friendly. The coffee was good and good for light bites and smaller meals. If you're hungry or have a tribe of big eaters, you might want to reconsider going here. I had the samosa chat for one and was still hungry after finishing it. My wife had the fennel salad from the Light bites option, and that was probably for a supermodel. Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was particularly busy but staff were constantly going above and beyond for everyone. The flavour of the food was exceptional. We were really impressed. I didn't want to knock a star off, as I hope this is constructive, but some wines that are suitable for vegans would be great. We also were expecting a fresh naan for the price, rather than the packet clay oven ones. But I would still happily recommend this place to anybody, one of the best meals we had...

No spinach and feta frittata, but instead try daal with buttery naan or spring rolls dunked in bitter chutney.
Change is good, and so is the food at this place, very much it’s own thing but with echoes of that familiar dishevelled charm.
