The Brioche Cafe — Restaurant in South Hams

Lovely rustic looking cafe within the main shopping street of Totnes. Totnes itself is centuries old and this reflects in the buildings. I stopped at this little cafe because I liked the look of it. And the menu was not one that was big which I like. Some are so big in the food they sell it can confuse you. I ordered a ploughmans lunch. And to be honest it was slightly different to normal. But I must say it worked for me. And I really enjoyed it. It's not a large cafe and has limited seating. For me this works as you don't wait long for your food. Enjoyed our lunch at this Café. Wonderful service with good food and plenty of choices. Prices are reasonable and portions good. The staff were amazing and really welcoming and friendly. Went here for breakfast whilst very hungover, managed to get the breakfast service by 10 minutes which was lucky and definitely helped us recover!

We both had the Meat Breakfast with extra hash browns and a cup of tea. All of it is cooked to order, and they use proper bacon and proper sausages which was nice. The staff were very friendly.
