Terrible experience abs VERY overpriced on certain items. It’s very odd that a portion of 4 (yes FOUR) jalapeño poppers costs £7 yet a children’s meal consisting of 5 nuggets, fries, corn on the cob and a drink can cost £5!?? When I asked about this they stated it is subsidised for children, which again is odd, if you’re subsidising children for supposed smaller portions then you can’t basically rip off the adults by giving small/tiny portions. Note that 14 frozen poppers (like the ones I was served) can cost just £2 for £14, see image, so I could have had 49 Poppers for what I was charged in this diner. Insanity. (You will notice an image if 5 measly chicken wings on this review, again £7 for 5 tiny wings) As for the WiFi, again terrible customer interaction, I asked the server if I could have the password they abruptly told me “there is no WiFi we don’t even have the password”???? Crackers again as you can see by the images there is WiFi, and when you consider there is no normal signal on the park this WiFi is important. The in and out door policy is another thing the management have totally overlooked, you can only enter in one door and leave by another, which is crazy as you’ll see if you go there, but I suggest you don’t. The entire business is set up for the ease of the staff, not the experience of...
Read moreDiner was nearly empty on father’s day, should have told us all we needed to know really. Went in, given a booth and menus then told to order at the counter. Ordered the Texan Burger, Onion Rings, Chilli loaded Nacho’s and a kids hotdog meal with drinks. Food came before the drinks which was odd, then the server spilled my son’s milkshake (accident’s happen) We waited for a few min’s before having to clean it up ourselves - server was more worried about getting another milkshake than cleaning the table - then after the milkshake had been replaced came with some blue roll…… Food was clearly pre-cooked and re-fried - warmed. My burger had cheddar cheese (not monterey jack) and really old congealed bacon in it. The milkshakes were just blended icecream with whipped cream on… for £5! We paid £45 for the lot, should have been half that if that’s what they’re going to...
Read moreIt’s hard to describe why they allow this place to continue as is; if it were an animal it would have been put down long ago. The plethora of bad reviews must pass the management bye; the clearly don’t eat here ever. It’s a virtually captive market, attached to a pay-to-play kids activity area and in probably the busiest shopping centre in south Lincolnshire, I can’t think why anyone would chose to eat or drink here, other than the fact they won’t let you into the kids area with food/drink from elsewhere. While the concept of an American diner is sound and consistently proved in other locations, the sub-par execution here leads to an overall avoidance of the whole attraction as a location to go; for kids play there are far better places and much better coffee to enjoy while your kids play.
Come on Springfields, we expect...
