Lovely little café! Being from London, I felt a little lost in Bourne and didn’t really know where to go… Didn’t feel like going to generic franchise Costa Coffee and wanted to give the locals some support… I pushed the door and was warmly welcomed by the waitress. I ordered a latte and a slice of brownie and was invited to take a sit. When I realised my payment had been declined, I rushed to the counter to cancel my order but the waitress was super understanding and said she would cover the cost (!?). I apologised and thanked her profusely… The coffee was lovely and the brownie delightful! Not too sweet, just perfect!
I had a very relaxing time and enjoyed a few words with a customer. I finally managed to pay for my order and was happy to be able to leave a tip… Thank you all for your generosity and kindness! I’ll be back as soon as I have a chance to visit...

What an amazing local place - staffed by volunteers - that not only serves great 'homemade' food and very nice drinks, all served with a friendly face, but is helping a fantastic Cause - Mental Health. I don't know why anyone local would spend their money at an International Brand (and increase their large profits), when you can have better quality at "Don't Lose Hope" and help your local Community.
