The Nags Head — Restaurant in South Kesteven

Although opening time says 6pm on Google, they are open all day as they offer food all afternoon. Walked in at 5:40pm and I was the only customer and was the only one for the half hour duration I was there. Friendly welcome from the barman. Feels a bit too modern for the rustic area. Beer selection limited but did have 1 cask ale and 2 draft ales. Both draft ales were well kept. Ecclectic background music that wasn't intrusive but with no other customers, it did feel too quiet even for a Wednesday evening, when 2 other pubs just 200 yards away (this place is more central) were thriving. Myself and 3 others of our party had the steak specials 2 steaks and bottle of wine £20 Bargin ???? NO steak was so small it wouldn’t have fed a child it didn’t say the size on the menu BUT IT DOES HAVE A PICTURE OF THE SAID SPECIAL ON THE WALL. And it doesn’t look anything like it. We complained and the young girl went back in the kitchen and gave our complaints to the owner, he sent a message back saying that the bottle of wine was £15 so what do you expect I said so the wine is the substitute for the meat ? When i arrived at this Gorgeous Establishment. I was Greeted with a very Warm Welcome from two really Friendly and very Inviting members of the Nags Head Pub in Bourne/ Lincolnshire. Billi and Maisey. They really looked after me. The Food was Superb, the Drink was Excellent, the Customer Service was the Best. I really Enjoyed myself on my visit. Atmosphere was Great. What a Fabulous and very Trendy Pub to go and visit. I Thoroughly and Highly recommend you come and try out this really Good Establishment. Jonathan/ Market Deeping....
