Visited Wymondham for the first time and I decided to try out one of local independents. Visited Merv's and it was great. The pasty and cheese and onion bake were very fresh. Only thing I would say is, the cream cake with the synthetic icing wasn't the best. Overall, a good experience.

Unbelievable bakery and these Christmas biscuits are to die for, been waiting months for them to come back in, Really friendly atmosphere everyone says hello and the service is great. Highly recommended ā¤ļø

Bought some sausage, egg and bacon turnover thing.

Consisted off a hard boiled egg, cheap bacon and sausage wrapped in pastry - doubt anyone at the bakery has tried this.

Do you know what happens to a hard boiled egg thatā€™s then re-baked? Turns into bulletproof rubber.

Sausage sandwich also consisted of a dry stale bap with a whole poor quality sausage thrown in. Didnā€™t bother buttering the roll either.

Asked for a pizza slice specifically without barbecue sauce as I can't eat it, bit into it to realise it had some barbecue sauce on it. Just glad I didn't have a severe allergy. I also do not like the way all different ingredient pizza slices are stacked together, surely this can cause cross contamination...

No idea what has happened to this place but the food I purchased there was awful! Food tasted like it was cooked days beforehand and keeps being put out for sale until it sells! Place is dirty and very unorganized. My advice is to steer clear, there are far better places in and...
