Extremely disappointing. We booked to dine here from a Buyagift voucher that was an anniversary gift. We were sent a free bottle of wine voucher upon booking when we were directed to their website. Our first meal together was at Prezzo in Beaconsfield and enjoyed many meals there. We also were looking forward to their salad. When we arrived we were seated at a tight spot for people passing by. There was a plug socket askew and painted green! We advised the waitress we had a voucher and was given a different, smaller menu sadly not such appealing choices. This wasn't made clear on booking. Although we got our wine it took 15 minutes to attract the waitress' attention to get a glass of water. The spaghetti bologenese hardly had any sauce but lots of pasta (far too much to the sauce ratio) and wasn't very nice. I couldn't eat much of it. The waitress never came over to check if everything was OK. I did say when she collected the plate it wasn't very nice and we were disappointed that we had travelled a long way and that we could only order from a different menu. We weren't allowed to use the free wine voucher. Although the staff apologised they didn't offer to rectify. They would have received payment for the meal through buyagift, it was just as well as I would have taken issue paying for the...
Read moreA nice little location, I've been to this venue a few times. Nice pleasant staff, food is always good. On my last visit, it was a Friday night, the place was very busy, a few big parties and we hadn't booked, so just walked in as a table of 2, but they said they could accommodate us , if we just took a seat. We were given no indication how long the wait would be, after 10minutes or so, we were re-assured it wouldn't be too long, they were just waiting for a table to be free. In the end ,the wait was approximately 20minutes, not bad, for a Friday night, as we were walk-ins, but I was shocked that in this time, we had not been offered drinks, not only from a business perspective, but also general hospitality, as a host, I feel this should have been 1 of the 1st things they did, never mind. We had a couple of starters, I had the Etna pizza , which on arrival unasked for a cocktail, the pizza was really nice, the drink happened to be a no show, so eating a spicy pizza with nothing to wash it Dow with wasn't too pleasant, then I had to give the waitress a gentle reminder, I would not be needing my drink I ordered anymore, she had clearly forgotten. I would recommend this place as long as you book a...
Read moreWe visited here Friday 28th March! Evening before my wedding me my bridesmaids and some family members wanted to go out for a meal to celebrate that I was getting married the next day! Can honestly say we were made to feel like complete crap and awkward! We had some Tesco vouchers and some 2 for 1 vouchers to use! We were aware wouldn’t be able to use them together so we asked if we could split the bill so we could use the Tesco vouchers on one and then the 2 for 1 on another bill as we were all paying separately! We were made to feel like we were being completely unreasonable and the manager was so rude; from the minute we got there she didn’t crack a smile and then continued to stand behind the bar and slag us all off to different waitresses which was so obvious, not setting a great example to her staff! I couldn’t wait to get out of there, would...
