M GOI!! A beautiful restaurant with lots of pretty traditional decoration. The staff are well trained and friendly and professional. I took my Malaysian GF for her first leyland Chinese/Cantonese experience and she cannot wait to return. we had prawns as a starter followed by egg fried rice, pork belly and fried lettuce. And every bite was delicious and our server was a lovely guy who I'd guess was early 30s. I feel rude as I didn't ask his name, however he worked the room very well for a reasonably busy Friday night and was lovely in how he informed us about the food/culture.

I visited this restaurant recently with a friend. We called in by chance and were so glad we did. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful. The quality of food far surpassed any Chinese either of us have had before. I will certainly be going there again when next that way. Thank you so much.

Food was incredible, excellent vegetarian selection, came so fast, hot and fresh. Service was outstanding, an absolute gem of a restaurant for leyland! Perfect - 10/10. Would recommend to everyone!

Having visited this restaurant many times before for both takeaway and dine in, I have up until this evening rated it very highly. However, the service this evening was so appalling and downright rude that we will not visit again. Having arrived with my partner and her young daughter, we ordered the set menu for both myself and partner. The lady serving immediately said “she must order too” (pointing the the little girl). Having explained that the little girl had already eaten as we had been out all day, the waitress responded (word for word) “well she cannot touch any of the food then”. Against better judgement, I explained again that she had already eaten but that in all honestly if she wanted a chip or mouthful from my plate then I clearly would not be refusing her (for food which I would be paying for) - I was told abruptly to “buy her a bowl of chips or rice then”. At this point, we walked out.

I can live with some of the other nonsense here such as a £1.50 per person charge for tap water (absurd in all honesty) as I have eaten here many a time before and very much enjoyed the food, however the attitude and service this evening was nothing short of appalling and so will not be visiting again. For completeness, this was not a new member of staff as I have seen this individual here on almost every visit (usually no issue).

Having driven round the corner to the Bangla Spice after walking out, we had a much better experience there - friendly, welcoming and...

Went for the 1st time yesterday and how disappointing, waitress's uninterested, looked like neither wanted to be there, all 5 of us had the 3 course banquet at £25 a head, soups to start ok,starters again ok,just average We all drank soft drinks at £4.50 for cokes and lemonade so not cheap,my sons coke looked like weak tea,the syrup had run out, which you could clearly see, this was changed. Then waited 25 minutes for half the mains to come out, another 5 minutes for the rest of the mains and another 5 minutes for the chips they forgot. So £155 for average Chinese food, let me tell you I use the word average to be kind, place definitely needs updating, staff more interested in takeaways that they shuttle through the restaurant,so trust me when I tell you there are far,far better Chinese restaurants locally where the staff are happy to see you, really make an effort with you, serve you good food and drink and are descent value, this unfortunately is where The Beijing Restaurant...

Awful customer service and even worse food. Ordered for collection as a recommendation from a friend and asked for one of the main dishes to be ‘ribs in bbq sauce’. Turned out to be ribs in honey sauce upon opening the takeaway, and when we called to question Kelly (who we put the order in with originally), she told us she may have heard us wrong (admitting to her wrong doing) before then going on to suggest that next time we need to be more explicit and say we want sauce all over - despite taking the call and asking for our bank details which she could have easily refunded. The ribs had no meat on them, only deceiving thick in fat. The only offer we were given was to come again and be offered a refund upon our next purchase if we mentioned Kelly’s name. Tried to call again after finishing the meal but received...
