Farington Park — Attraction in South Ribble

Farringtonpark is a lovely, small park. It is has a great playground for children of all ages including a multi sports area for basketball or football. There is is a circuit path that goes around the wildflower garden and the pond, plenty of benches to stop and take in the view and plenty of trees and grass to run around on or enjoy a picnic. There are also exercise stations for older teens or adults to use as part of their daily exercise! It's not far from the local chippy and within walking distance of a couple...

A pleasant park. There is a small parking area at the south end of the park which can be accessed from Bashall Grove. Good footpaths run through and around the park.
