The Pantry — Restaurant in South Ribble

There are a handful of places I hold close to my heart where I know parents and their kiddos can just “be”. The Pantry is an all-welcoming, no judgement, come as you are home from home and you can just see the weight lift from people’s shoulders when they come in.

The first time I came here when my second baby was still a newborn; the lovely barista saved a table for us while I was outside feeding her, and they ushered me in from the cold exceptionally fast, taking in our pram while I carried my baby. I was given a coffee on the house with a post-it that said “you’re doing great mama”. I may have cried a few happy tears 🥲 It’s things like this that keep you coming back, and I have!

My eldest who is toddler age has been a few times too now and absolutely LOVES the play area with the little kitchen, she also wolfs down the food and hot chocolates. If you’re a sleep deprived parent don’t sleep on this place; if you like great coffee, tasty food and friendly faces you’ll be super happy and well...

I absolutely love visiting The Pantry as I know I'll always be welcomed by the most friendly and welcoming team in Leyland. I especially love their ethos to support other local businesses, with lots of local baker's delights available in their glass counter each day. I've been numerous times now and have always had great drinks - hot chocolates, Chloe's amazing iced lattes & homemade lemonades..plus delicious food - loaded pancakes, waffles, and the loaded banana bread is my favourite! I visited last week for my birthday and the attention and service was faultless. A balloon on the table and of course a sing song of happy birthday when their surprise birthday brownie was brought to the table. Honestly thank you girls, you're the best gang and hang out...

Best smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel I’ve had for a very long time. I can’t stop thinking about it! The accompanying salad was top restaurant standard. Great selection of coffees, drinks and treats, spotlessly clean premises and very friendly and welcoming staff. I love the decor, dinnerware and the outside seating is fantastic. I was surprised by the good value of the amount of things we ordered, I expected at least a tenner more to be honest, especially as prices globally have shot up. Nice customers - it’s clearly a place where everyone is welcome and your custom is valued. Absolutely top notch. What a gem! Thank you so much for having us, guys.
