I visited Drip’d with my friend on 22/08/2024 as we were super keen to try their food. The staff were really friendly and we were told about 20% off burgers and we thought great. By the time we had decided what we wanted, ordered and paid and sat down upon looking at the receipt it appeared we didn’t receive 20% off. I don’t want to be that person that has to go back up to the counter and quibble over a couple of quid - please just get it right if you’re offering it to begin with. The cost was quite pricy for 2 x meals (1 wagyu Drip’d burger & 1 Angus OG) and 1 x onion rings came to £35.38. The restaurant itself is newly fitted and clean, it looks great however the lighting is intense it’s like you’re in a factory or an arcade it’s so bright not comfortable at all, plus they had this music playing that was like the same artist singing back to back covers of songs and it was just so repetitive. I definitely recommend the brisket it was tasty and smoky- it was the star of the show. The onion rings are just cheap burger van style onion rings all soggy and oily. The curly fries are just like the ones you can air fry at home - don’t bother. If I wanted a burger I would not rush to Drip’d, I know this may sound harsh but it’s definitely got some creases...
Read moreI bought two chicken burgers and chips for takeaway. The restaurant itself is kind of unusual but cool, they've spent a lot of money and it looks great, but it's more setup as a takeaway with a few tables around the sides. There's a also a huge TV and the music was sooo loud I could barely hear myself when I had to make a quick call. Unfortunately, I would not want to sit in.
The food itself was okay. The chicken was good, but a small portion at £9 for just a burger. What we did not like at all was the 'hot cheese'. By the time I'd got home, I'm only a 3 minute drive, the hot cheese had leaked out across the entire burger bun and drenched it in the stuff. It was a sloppy mess and not pleasant to handle. The hot cheese is like that liquid nacho cheese. In fact one of the burgers was meant to have sliced cheese, but it didn't. The chips were luke warm and not sure if freshly cooked or sat on the side for a while. The chips were overall not very good either. Disappointing.
Takeaway food does not always travel well so I would like to give it another go, but with the restaurant being so loud, I'm not sure I would.
A few tweaks here and there and it could be massively improved. 7bone and Brewdog remain my...
Read moreFirstly the guy serving was freindly and patient whilst we read through the whole menu. On recieving our food i’ve got to say it looked so cool and individual, their packaging really stands out, and you can tell thought has gone into every detail. The wagu Drip’n in BBQ was extremely tasty, but a little too much sauce. The SmokeN chicken burger has the potential to be great. Lovely ingrediants, but sadly this time around was dripping in so much bbq sauce, that’s all you could taste. But by far our favourite thing was the shakes! Sooo yummy! We had the oreo and Biscoff, highly recommend. So all in all a good meal, potential to be sbsolutely great with a few tweaks (mainly too much sauce...
