Curry House Indian Takeaway (Merryoak) — Restaurant in Southampton

Really disappointed. Used on and off for years but now never will again! Appalling customer service! Who ever was taking the orders on Friday 5th July shouldn’t be allowed to be dealing with customers ! More or less accused me of lying as denied I had ordered some items despite everyone else hearing me and me actually spelling the item out to him. We Waited one hour thirty, one order of main dish missing ( the one I apparently didn’t order) and half of biriyani order (the rice part ) which he did send plus another rice ?? The worst of it wasn’t the missing food which was annoying after such a long wait but the attitude from whom ever was answering the phone, he was very argumentative and rude , bordering on passive aggressive . The others with me were shocked at his tone. Never had a problem before this so maybe under new management but will be staying clear...

Please read: Ordered this takeaway, our order was out for delivery for over half hour, when it arrived it was stone cold we rang up to complain and was told they will refund us, I then received a refund for just £4.60 in an order over £20 we then rang back up to complain and was told we weren't getting the refund back as they provide heated equipment to keep the food warm (which it wasn't) Uday made me feel I was lying. Ordered at 17:44, original estimate was for delivery in 45 minutes (18:30). At 18:00, notification of a delay, estimate 19:00. At 19:08, I called them, they apologised for the delay and stated they were short of delivery drivers and numerous orders all came in at once.
