Domino's Pizza - Southampton - Bitterne — Restaurant in Southampton

I ordered a delivery on the app, for an address 5 minutes down the road from the Bitterne store. After 30 minutes I tracked the delivery on the app: it showed the driver turning around and driving back to the store. The app then showed the order status as “delivered”. I called the store and asked where the order was. The member of staff told me it would arrive in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later and no sign of the delivery, so I called the store again. The same member of staff answered, and after a few minutes of looking on the system he told me there was no record of the order.

I had a confirmation email with the order number, payment was taken from my account, and I was able to track my order on the app.

This was also surprising to hear as on the previous call he’d said the delivery was 10 minutes away…

The only conclusion I can come to is that they simply don’t care about their paying customers. No attempt to resolve the issue or even explain it, and no concern for people being left out of pocket by their mistakes.

I can’t even rate the food, because 4 hours later it still hasn’t arrived....

Ordered 2 pizzas on the app, then 20 mins later app said it was delivered! But no pizza. Gave it 0 minutes still not delivered so called the store and got told its 5 minutes away, waiting another 20 minutes called the store again to be told 5 minutes again!! Another 20 minutes later still no pizzas called the store again to told...... 5 minutes away !! I wasn't taking that as an answer this time to be told it had been delivered to the wrong address and they had to remake it after more complaining I got told I would receive a 75% discount on my next order, not a refund as they dont do that. The pizza did turn up a coulpe minutes after the last call, how ever phoned to store a week later to place an order to be told theres no record of it and I wasn't getting getting any compensation!! After complain some more was offered a small reduction on the price which was a coulpe of pound !! Never using...

Wasn't impressed. Ordered around 9 on a Saturday evening - so expected a little wait. An hour and 15 minutes later I phone the restaurant and I am told rather blasé that there is a 2-3 HOUR wait on all pizzas. I explained how it didn't mention this when we ordered and was told 'Oh no, it doesn't, sorry'.

I then questioned would my meal be hot and fresh when it arrived and was assured - yes, it stays on the hot counter and will be nice and hot when you get it. Eventually my pizza arrives (around 11.30pm) and it was COLD! Being 11.30 at night, I wasn't prepared to phone up and complain, I really just wanted to go to bed - Safe to say I was NOT happy and I don't think i'll be ordering from...
