Mad Cafe and Deli — Restaurant in Southampton

I had my eldest son invite me and his brother to meet for lunch along with his girlfriend. This was a fantastic time out. They have a lot of the traditional snacky foods and typical portuguese cafe menu available. Basic and very tasteful. Having lived in Portugal for 19 years (being of Portuguese parents) I can confirm the authenticity of the food and that of the environment. For anyone wanting to experience a little bit of Portuguese cuisine, I will highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable and the food is of high quality. The place is clean and very typical of the family environment one would get in Portugal. The challenge comes only with the parking availabilty (hence only 4 stars instead of 5). I could only find parking a block away. But this is no reason to avoid going there. Well...

This Café is one of the best places I’ve ever visited. My experience here was well and truly emotional - I would give it 6 stars if I could. Not only was the food absolutely breath taking but the staff made the whole experience 10 x better. The atmosphere here is phenomenal, it’s like walking into a portal straight to Portugal.
