Mai Thai Authentic Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Southampton

As you walk in the decor is stunning and a warm calm atmosphere greets you. We were made to feel very welcomed, from arrival right till leaving. We'd arrived fairly late in the evening and there was only a seat by the door which we were fine with but soon as one was free we were offered the choice to move seats.

I was very kindly given a glass of water after having a bit of a coughing issue while eating. Our food was absolutely wonderful, arrived very fast. So fresh, piping hot and full of flavors.

I had vegetable Pad Thai and my friend had the mixed box, both washed down with Chang beer. I'd not tried Chang before but highly recommend it! A very light and refreshing drink to accompany your meal.

Fully deserving of all the excellent reviews (that were so good I was slightly suspicious!). We had the mixed starter box, which was excellent. Two of everything except chicken wings, which was more like six. All brilliant quality - can't remember when I last had spring rolls with so much filling. All three dips were lovely and fresh. We had the mai thai style spice box which was absolutely delicious - and a great portion size. The mai thai pork belly was also lovely. Restaurant looked lovely inside and service was friendly, I'm looking forward to eating in one day! My boyfriend proclaimed it the best thai that he's eaten in Southampton - which sums...

Fantastic Thai Takeaway. I noticed Mai Thai opening in my local area and being a fan of Thai food decided to try. I've now had two orders and both were excellent. It's my partners favourite takeaway now and my favourite Thai.

Food was cooked to order onsite, very quick and staff very polite and happy.

The food itself was amazing. Intense flavours without being greasy. So far we've tried multiple starters and mains and loved every piece. The Panang (The nicest Panang I've ever had) and Chilli Basil stir-fry (Addictive flavours!) was my personal favs.

I highly recommend Mai Thai and look forward to our next...
