The place was empty, and managers and assistant managers were chilling and clearly not interested that the place was a mess. Floor chilling l completely dirty, I kindly had to ask for a table to be cleaned and the assistant manager didn't like that I pointed that the place was empty and therefore no reason to look a mess. Fries were cold, no paper printer in any of the order points (this place being a franchise could be an indication of tax evasion, especially when I had to ask for a receipt twice). I was given literally TWO paper napkins on the tray, and the bins were full. Toilets were so messy that they could make a pig vomit... All the numbers for the table service were deliberately taken out from order points and put away. Manager and their assistant sent a younger staff member (to whom I've felt sorry for and apologised that they've sent her after me pointing out how messy it was) from the food prep line to clean the tables as they were too proud to do it themselves and rather continue to sit and chill whilst I stood by the counter waiting for anyone to actually look at me with me tray in my hands and had already called for someone a good 4 or 5 times.
When a place is this empty, this should never happen.... regardless. I'll be looking to email head office with all the evidence I've gathered to report this franchise as they've clearly gone lazy and full of themselves.
On my way out, I've decided to go through the drive-through and see what was happening... ordered a coke with no ice, and the bad experience continued:
The middle-aged people taking drive-through orders were not looking motivated at all, and they've had the right attitude to go with it, to say the least.
Franchise owners should get better feedback from the workers and not just the managers and actually try and be a customer himself to go through the experience themselves.....I shall email my findings to the head office as said before. Fries given without peel-off sticker for competitions/draws but the paper on the tray still had the promotion running....
This place has been losing quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A leader should lead by example and not by dictating orders to their staff members...

Read moreHad a Real Urge for a McDonald's at 1 am. However the closest McDonalds to me was shut which was no Surprise, It's always closed haha. So Made a 5 mile drive to this Swaythling McDonald's. Upon arrival I noticed how clean the Car Park was. Walked through the ultra clean car park to the store entrance to my surprise this was shut. They also had No Signs on the Door to why the McDonald's was shut!! Saw this Gentleman outside he was very agitated because he wanted to buy food for his dog and a Burger for himself. He looked homeless. but I wouldn't like to say! I ordered through the app and went to see if I could get food via the drive through!! Upon Arrival to the Drive Through I got stopped by the same agitated Gentleman and the Dog and asked if I could help him because he was extremely hungry to Purchase The food for him and gave me Cash because I Drived and he didn't have a car. I Got Served by Sergio. He Had excellent Customer Service and was extremely helpful and Took Both Orders and was very understanding towards the whole Situation... After having Great Customer Service by Sergio. I then got my food and the man with his dog also got his food.
On To the Food, Order 1943 All my Food items I ordered was inside the Bag. No Receipts However! The Food was Excellent Hot and Cooked to Perfection. The Bun was Super Fresh

We went to the McDonald's at 75/77 high street Southampton before driving back to Bedfordshire for 2 and a half hours.
The order placement went well. We got our drink and was told that we need to wait for a bit for the food. 15 minutes after waiting patiently there was no staff with our food. At this point we had all our drink because we were so hungry while waiting. 20 minutes after I went to finds out what was cause our delay with our food since I could see other customer receiving their food although we ordered before them. I asked a member of staff in the car park and she said she will check. AFTER 5 MINUTES there was no sign of her so I went to the window and asked someone else. Me and the kids waited 30 minutes for our order at this point we had no drink or extra money to buy any drink to have our food. I explained the situation to the shift manager Gina who was very a abrupt with no empathy although I had the children in the car with the fear of them choking on the food including myself . I've never waited for 30 minutes at MacDonald for food, for nearly 40 years being a McDonald's customer. I needed help to put the code in for the review but was having problems, I went to Gina for help but she refuses only when I asked her for someone else to help me with the code then she did it. I'm extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the service that was provided here hence the food was unable for us to enjoy.
