Oasis Bar — Restaurant in Southampton

This review is a little unfair on the actual staff inside as I was unable to get inside and heres why the 1 star applies.

On Saturday night after myself and my stag party had a curry next door, we went to Oasis for some drinks. None of us were intoxicated or loud on the approach to the bar, but for some unknown reason the jumped up power crazy bouncer on the door took a dislike to a couple of us instantly. After providing 3 lots of ID, he claimed it wasn't good enough as I looked a little younger in my ID. My licences are all legal and inline with DVLA AND DVSA standards, just my photo didn't present a beard unlike my face does now. His attitude was appalling towards us and gave no genuine reason for his refusal. He clearly lacks any form of people skills and with a little arm band on his inflated little arms considers himself a powerhouse. Arrived here at around 9pm on Thursday 8th August. Just had a glass of wine and waited for my phone to charge. I was extremely tired after an 8 hour drive. I went to get another drink, only to be told I couldn't be served as I was tired and falling asleep, absolutely ridiculous. The boy who served me was rude and up himself. I would like to see how this boy is after an 8 hour drive with children. Don't recommend, I just went over the road instead and got served a drink. Plenty of other bars in the area. This bar lost my business. I think the boy who served me needs to work on his people skills, just very strange to not getting saved for being too tired. I was quite embarrassed for him. And the atmosphere was quiet and flat, there must have been two other people in there. Don't recommend. Go somewhere else to eat and drink where the staff actually want...

im not happy with this place i went there with 3 mates one of them it was his birthday and it was the first pup we decided to go to that night ...i went to the toilet at some point come back sat down security came over stole are drinks and told us to lave because one of my m8s was a little bit loud all thay had to say is keep it down lads we weren't even drunk ...so if u want a good time dont go to this place bloody thieves 😤lol avoid this place at all cost thay lost me as a customer and all my mates . and i hope menny people will read this and will be wise and stay ...
