Rio's Piri Piri — Restaurant in Southampton

Yesterday we came here after looking for a Halal place to eat with my family, we loved the food so much we came back again today 06/08/2022. Definitely come here to eat if you're in Southampton. The food, atmosphere, service....its all just 10/10. I can't fault a single thing at all. The food was fresh, moist, flavourful and just so good, I ate in a lot of piri piri places but I can honestly say this is a place you should definitely try, guaranteed you will come back the next day as I have done today. Decor is Instagram worthy yet also kid friendly. Thanks Rio for a great evening, belly full with good food and the service was received with big smiles, positive attitude and friendly manner. We got the Grillsters for the kids, Homemade Ranchos for the adults and the Piri Piri Chickens in Medium hot flavours. The flavour was marinated all throughout the chickens and burger. Also we got the Rio drinks, you should definitely try the Mango flavour as that was the best mango fizzy...

Absolutely delicious! I popped into this lovely presented restaurant spontaneously after a hard week’s work! Looking for a treat to say thank you to myself! I work shifts and don’t get back to Southampton until after 23:20pm. There is not much ever open or still serving at that time! I have to say I am so impressed! Every restaurant has their own spin on how they present their food and sauces and of course not every restaurant will be the same, so appreciating different takes on food is my way of experiencing something I have never had before! After all we can’t compare ourselves or anything these days! For me myself and my experience it was excellent!! The only thing I would have liked different is the chicken to be a lot more succulent which I hope will be taken as constructive criticism. Thank you for a great first experience of tasty, well presented food with staff that really do care and that is hard to find!...
