Read moreThe Red Lion has always been one of my favourite pubs, really great historic pub adorned with shields, flags and suits of armour and not forgetting a friendly grey parrot. The food is exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The steaks are cooked to perfection and your plate is laden with chips, salad, onion rings etc. There is a fairly good selection of lager, ales, ciders and spirits. A word of warning though - the steps upstairs are steep so mind how you go after a few glasses of your favourite...
