IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

I have since checked the Food Standards Agency Website and noticed they are 3/5 in terms of their hygiene standards, which tells me something isn't quite right. In my view, all establishments should have a 5/5 hygiene rating to ensure that any potential risks to staff and customers are at their absolute minimum. With this in mind, I've unfortunately had to downgrade my review. I hope that the hygiene standards at this establishment are being improved in response to this.

Visited on a quiet weekday night, was us and one other table occupied. Word still hasn't gotten out and I hope my review doesn't deter people as I suspect the issues are mostly teething.

We ordered the following dishes for three people: Tikka Platter Chaat Platter Soya Chaap Tikka Dahi Bhalley Wada Pav

You'd think platter would be a large dish, they were not. However, both platters were tasty, especially the soya one which surprised me as a meat eater. This made up for the lack of quantity. They were pricey though!

Unfortunately The Dahi Bhalley was completely tasteless. We did mention this to the staff so we hope it improves!

Service was good and tap water was flowing so couldn't complain too much.

If you want a light tapasy Indian meal with good taste you can't really go wrong. Don't expect it to be cheap though.

As I am writing this review, the owner (presumably that's who he was?) has offered us the Dahi Bhalley again! Now that I appreciated, he accepted the criticism and went even further to test an improved version on us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tikka Nation, and I can’t rave enough about the incredible food and exceptional service I experienced. From start to finish, my visit was a true delight.

The food at Tikka Nation was simply amazing. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail, precisely following the instructions I provided. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making every bite a memorable experience. While the Soya Tikka was slightly salty, it paired wonderfully with the Naan bread, creating a harmonious combination.

Moreover, I would like to extend my gratitude to Pooja, our serving person. Pooja displayed exceptional attentiveness and understanding of our requirements. She ensured that our preferences were met and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was personalized and enjoyable. Her professionalism and knowledge of the menu were commendable.

Additionally, I would like to commend Tikka Nation for their well-managed pricing. The menu was easy to navigate, making it effortless to select our desired dishes.

Overall, Tikka Nation exceeded my expectations in terms of food quality, service, and menu organization. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Thank you to the entire team, and a special shout-out to Pooja for her outstanding service.

I can't express the addiction I have for this place. I remember the first time I ordered from here, I was hooked. I got addicted and began to order all the time, including my boyfriend who ordered. We even ordered a few extras just so I could fill a few tubs of their soya tikka, soya chilli and soya Kathi rolls, placed in a freezer bag with ice bags, sealed it all tightly and sent them first class next day delivery to Scotland.🤣 He reheated it, ate and was already having me doing it again and again. I didn't order as much for a while, because it just didn't taste the same. However, I decided to keep trying and for the last couple months it's been so delicious. Everything just tastes so good! I'm hooked again which is definitely not helping my bank account. The extra delivery fee now on deliveroo is worth it just to stuff my face. My stomach is always full and aching the rest of the day after I eat, not because of the food itself but because I can't stop eating and I over eat. My waist line has only grown since I discovered this place. Definitely need to try more of their vegan stuff! I just need to know what I should try and what's vegan because deliveroo does not say!
